The grove-warden of the Madhuvana and Sugrīva's maternal uncle, who tries and fails to stop the monkeys from plundering the honey.
Thus our brave wardens have been beaten while you, their lord, still reign;
others were dragged about at will and shown the sky — hurled through the air.
Reassured by that great-souled Sugrīva, the highly wise Dadhimukha rose up and spoke.
