    Euthymenes, chronographer, cited for dating Homer contemporary with Hesiod in the time of Acastus.

    But Euthymenes, in his Chronicles, says he flourished together with Hesiod, in the time of Acastus, and was born in Chios about the two-hundredth year after the capture of Ilium.
