Adversus Marcionem
Old Testament prophet whose saying on the just living by faith is matched to Christ's word to the sinful woman.
But also, if the goad of penitence had come by faith, through penitence justified by faith she heard from him, "Thy faith has made thee safe," who through Habakkuk had pronounced, "The just shall live by his faith.
" When he shakes the waves of the strait, Habakkuk is fulfilled.
But the whole bearing of that vision we have also with Habakkuk, where the spirit, sometimes in the person of the apostles:
