Kitāb madhāhib al-Aʻrāb wa-falāsifat al-Islām fī al-jinn
Companion of the Prophet whose alleged comparison of the Zuṭṭ to the jinn is reported with its contradiction.
The common people relate that Ibn Masʻūd, may God be pleased with him, saw a man of the Zuṭṭ and said:
al-Saʻādah fī falsafat al-akhlāq
Companion named as the transmitter behind al-Aʻmash's reading.
and the reading of al-Aʻmash, on the transmission of Ibn Masʻūd, is ( and they have been given but little knowledge ) (2).
