Atharvaveda (Paippalāda)
A sovereign deity named king of refuge over all quarters combined.
O gods who make refuge, be my refuge from all the quarters, with Īśāna as king and overseer.
And for one struck down by Īśāna, and for the evil and its evil venom — O Arundhatī, [thou art the poison-destroyer of that poison].
If, having added meat to it, one eats first, Īśāna slays the recipient.
Kunjarakarna Dharmakathana
