Personified martial Wrath, invoked as a battle-leader and destroyer of enemies.
O Manyu, that bolt of yours which was kindled as an arrow, which nourishes all power in succession — with you as our ally, O fashioner of strength, with might overcoming all, may we overcome the Dāsa and the Ārya.
The wealth assembled on both sides, gathered together — may Varuṇa and Manyu grant it to us.
Maker of victory, like Indra, never faltering — be our protector here, O Manyu.
