Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa
Rākṣasa minister, father of Jambumālī.
Commanded by the lord of rākṣasas, the powerful son of Prahastas — Jambumālī of the great fangs — marched out, bearing his bow.
On hearing that his mighty host of rākṣasas had been slain, the king's eyes rolled in fury, and he commanded Prahastas's son — unmatched in valour, most difficult to overcome in battle.
His eyes copper-red with swelling rage at the slaying of the mighty son of Prahastas, the lord of night-roaming rākṣasas swiftly commanded the sons of his ministers — men of exceeding valour and prowess.
