The divine Saviour and Word (Logos), who reveals the Father and is identified with the law.
Wherefore this alone leads by the hand to the true wisdom, which is a divine power, knowing the things that are as they are, having the perfect, freed from all passion — not without the Saviour, who, by the divine Word, has drawn off from the seeing part of our soul the misty ignorance poured over it by base conduct, and given back the best, "that we might know well both god and man.
