Anabasis
The lieutenant-governor of Western Armenia, favored by the King, who treats with the Greeks while preparing to attack them in a mountain pass.
and before the day ended they crossed over the summit at which Tiribazus was intending to attack them and went into camp.
He rode up to the Greeks with a body of horsemen, and sending forward an interpreter, said that he wished to confer with their commanders.
