The people of Ayodhyā who adorn the city and celebrate Ṛśyaśṛṅga's arrival with Daśaratha.

Then those joyful citizens, hearing that the king had come, did everything the king had sent word to do.

Then, taking leave of his friend and setting out, the joy of the Raghus sent swift messengers ahead to the citizens:

Then all the townspeople were overjoyed, seeing that brāhmaṇa being ushered in with honour by the king who acts like Indra.
