Risālah fī ʻilm al-akhlāq
The khāṣṣah of the court, charged with concealing what passes in the assembly and publishing the king's noble acts.
for it is a right of the king’s intimates who attend his assembly that they should describe him by his finest qualities, for the gladdening of friends and the confounding of enemies.
