The visible sun, offspring of the good, which gives light enabling sight, analogized to how the good gives truth enabling knowledge.

Therein, the nature of a solar ingress (*saṅkrama*) is the conjunction of the central atom of the sun's disc with the first atom of a zodiac sign such as Aries.
In this view, the entry of the eastern part of the sun's disc into the circle of the zodiac signs of Aries, etc.
