Garments in Scripture, read allegorically as figures for the sanctified, resurrected flesh.

And so they shall be in white garments, that is, in the brightness of unwedded flesh.

Ceremonial clothing used to enhance appearance, mark favor, and organize the royal procession.

And when the officers one after another saw him, they would say:

And you, Cyrus, asked one of those present, when will you adorn yourself?

So they went away, sent for their friends, and adorned them with the robes.
