Apollodorus Against Nicostratus
The legal inventory or information filed by Apollodorus over slaves alleged to belong to Arethusius.
I shall therefore relate to you the greatest and most flagrant of their wrongdoings, and those which gave rise to the filing of the information;
That these slaves are the property of Arethusius, and that I listed them in the inventory because they formed a part of his estate, I shall proceed to show you.
but I have filed this inventory of property because I have suffered wrong and indignity from these men and therefore thought it my duty to avenge myself upon them.
