Atharvaveda (Paippalāda)
A sacrificial rice-porridge oblation personified and addressed as a means of ascent to the world of the well-doer.
Having cooked the aja and the five rice-porridges, the gods fully attained the worlds.
I anoint the rice-porridge with strength and ghee — the divine ocean, the great milky expanse.
From where you stand, O Odana, on the back of heaven, in the wide expanse above — the Brāhmaṇas who hold the eternal law followed you along together with their generous bounty.
