Bṛhaspati Smṛti
Property given as security for a debt, subject to rules on precedence, release, cultivation, and usury.
When the debtor, having paid the principal money, requests the pledge, it must be released to him at that very time;
the debtor shall get back the pledge, having paid the money with interest on a usufructuary pledge for the full term.
