Francis l. 1527. to give their advice concerning the Redemption of his Children, and his return to Spain, the delivery of Burgundy, whereupon the three Estates answered a part. That his person belonged to the Realm, and not to himself, that Burgundy was a Member of the Crown of which he was but the usufructuary and so could neither dispose of the one nor the other.
