Adab al-wazīr
The Companion and exegete Ibn ʻAbbās, quoted for the diagnosis of anger as the recourse of a man whose argument has failed.
None inclines to anger but one whom the authority of argument has worn out.
Mujālid related, from al-Shaʻbī, from Ibn ʻAbbās, from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said:
Kitāb madhāhib al-Aʻrāb wa-falāsifat al-Islām fī al-jinn
The Companion said to have kept the identification of the Spirit concealed, and to whom the view that the Spirit is an angel is then traced back.
