Then the ten-necked one said to Mahodara who stood nearby:
That great-souled one with copper-colored eyes like the newly risen sun, mounted on a harsh elephant resounding with the clanging of bells, who roars mightily — that hero is known as Mahodara.
Having heard Mahodara's words, Kumbhakarṇa of great brilliance, the mighty one, surrounded by rākṣasas, set out.
