Having heard Kaikeyī's sweet words, Mantharā — that one skilled in speech — replied with words filled with rage.
Burning with rage, Mantharā, that one of evil vision, went to Kaikeyī as she lay resting and spoke these words to her.
Addressed thus with harsh words by the evil-sighted hunchback in her anger, Kaikeyī fell into the deepest distress.
