Personified Death, saluted alongside Yama and the Pitṛs.
Homage to Yama, homage be to Mṛtyu, homage to the Pitṛs and to those who lead [the dead].
do not come under the sway of Death.
Fall upon this one, O Mṛtyu — let not the great-bellied one be released from you.
