Sāṃkhyakārikā
Disciple of Āsuri credited with expanding the Sāṃkhya doctrine into a manifold (tantra) teaching.
Āsuri [gave it] in turn to Pañcaśikha, by whom the doctrine (saptati / Ṣaṣṭitantra (tantra)) was made manifold [widely expanded].
[The doctrine] handed down through the succession of disciples — this was condensed into āryā verses by the noble-minded Īśvarakṛṣṇa, having rightly understood the established conclusion (satkārya (siddhānta)).
Sāṃkhyatattvavivecana
A traditional teacher of the Sāṃkhya lineage.
