Rigveda
Legendary sage-poet invoked as the model for reciting a skillful laud.
The wise one recites the laud like Uśanas the sage — a prayer for the discerning, sovereign lord.
When Uśanas came from afar, you two reached the hole of the bulls;
He is the inspired seer, the forerunner of peoples, the skillful and wise one, Uśanas by poetic wisdom;
