Kitāb al-Zawrāʼ wa-al-taʻlīqāt ʻalayhi
The Prophet's Companions, witnesses of the glorifying pebbles and recipients of the closing benediction.
And it may befall illumined souls that this indication be represented to them in outward speech, so that they hear it face to face, as has come down in the ḥadīth concerning the Prophet's companions — God bless him and grant him peace — hearing the glorification of the pebbles in his holy palm, by reason of the niche (mishkāh) of their perceptions being lit by the lights of his companionship, God …
