Risālat al-Wāridāt
The prophets and messengers as a class, sent as heralds and warners out of mercy and not obligation, chosen by sheer bounty without any part for acquisition, necessarily truthful, trustworthy, sagacious, free of repellent traits, faithful in delivery and inerrant, authenticated by custom-breaking miracles, and recipients of God's books.
And they are supported by the miracles that prove them to be sent from the Wise, the All-Aware.
And the prophets and messengers have attributes that must of necessity belong to them, attributes which the intellect does not permit to be denied of them — else they would not be messengers from God nor prophets — and they are:
And God has books that He sent down upon His prophets;
Risālat baqāʼ al-nafs baʻda fanāʼ al-jasad
The collective body of prophets and messengers upon whom the opening doxology invokes blessing and peace before singling out Muhammad.
and blessing and peace be upon the whole body of the prophets and messengers, and above all upon Muḥammad and his household, the good and the pure.
