    I have you as my debtor for a good debt. For I lent you a debt of love, which I must recover with interest, since our Lord too does not refuse this kind of interest. Repay it, then, dear head, by visiting our homeland. This, now, is the principal itself. And what is the interest? That you be the one who comes — a man who surpasses us by as much as fathers are better than children.
