Letter 211
Late Antiquity Basil of Caesarea Greek- To Olympius.
Both on reading the letter of your Honor I became more cheerful and more contented than I had been, and on coming to converse with your most beloved sons I seemed to behold you yourself. Finding my soul greatly afflicted, they so disposed it that I forgot the hemlock among you, which the dream-mongers and dream-peddlers, for the favor of those who hired them, carry about against us. As for letters, some I have sent, and others I will give later, if you wish. Only may there be some benefit from them to those who receive them.
