Kitāb al-Safīnah al-Nūḥīyah fī al-sakīnah al-rūḥīyah
The saints or intimates of God, whose settled souls are protected from Satan's complete power though still exposed to his stealth.
As for the soul at peace in the friends of God (awliyāʼ), disobedience is admissible of it, but remotely;
And this is the degree of the friends of God (awliyāʼ), and it is not attained by acquisition (kasb), in the view of one who holds it.
