    Formerly you wrote us little; now you write not even a little; and it seems that your brevity, advancing with time, is becoming complete silence. Return, then, to your custom, since we will no longer blame you for being laconic toward us in your letters; but even your short letters, being tokens of your great affection, we shall count as worth much. Only write to us.
