    How heavily, do you think, did I take it that I missed meeting you during the summer? And yet not even the meeting of the others was such as to come to us in full measure; but still, even to see what one longs for in a dream brings some consolation to those who love. But you do not even write, you are so idle, so that I cannot put down your failure to any other cause rather than to your sluggishness toward journeys undertaken for love's sake. But let this be done with between us. Pray for me, and entreat the Lord not to forsake me, but, as He brought me through the trials that have come, so to deliver me also from those that are expected, to the glory of His name, on which we have set our hope.
