Letter 158
Late Antiquity Basil of Caesarea Greek- To Antiochus
Since my sins have stood in my way, so that I have been unable to bring to fulfilment the desire I have long had to meet with you, I console myself for our being apart at least by letters; and I beg you not to leave off remembering me in your prayers, that, if we live, we may be counted worthy to enjoy your company, and if not, that by the help of your prayers we may, with good hope, depart from this world. The brother in charge of the camels I commend to you.
