Letter 326
Late Antiquity Basil of Caesarea Greek- Without title, by way of admonition The holy God has given us a most fitting occasion in our affairs by making known to us this brother, the man whom, on our return to your Honour, we have employed as the bearer of this written conversation of ours; and we pray to God that, as you advance to ever greater distinction and renown, you may adorn both us and the whole of our homeland by your own virtue. We urge you, throughout your whole life, to remember the God who created you and bestowed honour upon you, so that, in addition to the splendour of this present life, you may further be counted worthy of the glory of heaven, for the sake of which we must do all things, we who direct our lives toward that blessed hope.
